Ski

Just 1 hour away from LaVista Suites lies the Sierra Nevada ski resort. It offers one of the largest and most attractive ski areas in southern Europe. The winter resort features 112.5 skiable kilometers distributed across 134 slopes, with the highest vertical drop for skiing in Spain (1,200 m).

Only 30 minutes by car from Sierra Nevada, we find the monumental city of Granada. A land of millennial history, it boasts a rich artistic and cultural heritage left by Muslims (the Alhambra, the Albayz铆n neighborhood, and the rich and varied local gastronomy) and Christians (Cathedral and Royal Chapel).

The variety of artistic styles, the quality of musical and theatrical activities, as well as the rich traditions maintained by its inhabitants, make culture one of the province's hallmarks and its greatest tourist attraction.

Hiking

Hiking in Nerja is one of the most prominent tourist activities on the Costa del Sol and offers some of the best routes in the region. The Sierra Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama Natural Park, located in the mountains near Nerja, is an ideal place for hiking, with impressive views of the coast and mountains.

For visitors looking to enjoy a simple route to connect with the nature offered by the La Axarqu铆a region, there are several trails that can be enjoyed with family or friends, covering them in a short time and with low difficulty.

Marina del este

Located just 15 minutes from Nerja, you'll find the Marina del Este. It began its journey in 1977 and currently has 227 berths ranging from 8 to 30 meters. Its luxurious facilities house various nautical and tourist service companies, including diving businesses, cafes, restaurants, boutiques, and more.

Future Torrox-Nerja marina

It is an ambitious project that promises to transform the eastern coast of Malaga. This development will be located between the beaches of Vilches and Calaceite, right on the border between Torrox and Nerja.

The project includes:

- 872 docking points for boats
- A strategic location that will benefit both municipalities, Torrox and Nerja.
- It is expected to become an important tourist hub for the region.

This future marina could become a catalyst for the tourist and economic development of the area, comparable to a certain extent to the impact that Puerto Ban煤s (Marbella) has had.
